Most of our employees have been with us for over 10 years and many for 15 or more years.

Our employees are our most valuable asset and their safety is paramount. President

Joey started his construction career at the age of fifteen working as a general laborer under the direction of his father and senior crew members at Jerry A. Botts Construction, Inc. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1992 and became a Field Supervisor for Gray Construction. Joey returned to Glasgow in 1993 to take on a major role in the family business and took over as President of the company in 2009.

Joey manages the day-to-day operations at Botts Construction as well as individual projects. He builds an unparalleled level of trust with every client he meets and has been instrumental in the fostering of long standing relationships.  Joey holds a Kentucky Real Estate license. He is an active supporter of youth programs and serves on several community boards including TJ Samson Hospital.


spencerSpencer Botts
Vice President

Spencer began working on the crew at Jerry A. Botts Construction, Inc. at the age of fourteen and continued until he attended the University of Kentucky. In 1993 he joined his brother at the company that his father and grandfather had founded and in 2009 became Vice-President.

In addition to project management, Spencer is involved in all aspects of the business. With his outgoing personality and thoughtful manner, Spencer is a genuine “people person” and brings enthusiasm and a fresh approach to management at Botts Construction.

Spencer holds a Kentucky Real Estate license that enables him to provide a broad range of services for his clients.


jinnyJinny Hale
Office Manager

Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Jinny joined Botts Construction in 2001. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology from Eastern Kentucky University and has experience in both the Construction and Real Estate industries.

In addition to managing everything financial for the company, she oversees safety and takes care of day-to-day administrative operations.
